LEFT AND RIGHT. my say.




the differences between lefties and right handers.i just read an article about it, and to merely summarise it, it is believed that lefties brains are more 'freely developed' as compared to right handers' brain, which is the 'standard' type. this allows sort of slight 'modification', resulting in weirder stuffs, which may be good or bad(like leonardo da vinci, who is an artistic AND scientic genius, but also gay). haha.

and the ratio of righties to lefties is 9:1, or 10% are lefties.

and, so where do i have something to say about. nope, i do agree that lefties have a different way and stuff, their better in different areas. however, there was this test where a black image of a ballerina was spinning, and the question was if she was spinning clockwise or anticlockwise. rightbrainers(lefties) would choose clockwise, while leftbrainers(righties) would pick anticlockwise. however, when i saw it, it apparently was turning anticlockwise for me. why? it took me some considerable thinking and focussing for me to see it in the other view.

judging from the table up there, we see the differences observed between leftbrainers and rightbrainers. however, i feel that all research and whatever yada yada is almost completely wrong. whats the problem? i feel that today's society has it all screwed up. today's society forces us ALL to become leftbrainers, in order to succeed. from young we do maths and sciences. do you see philosophy and religion in our pri6 texts? even if we do have in the near future, its weightage will not be as strong as that of maths and sciences. thus, society nowadays forces us, lefties who are rightbrainers, to switch to leftbrainers in order to be a 'better person', to 'excel'.

therefore, i feel that its no longer what is the difference between lefties and righties, but rather, how a single particular leftie individual is able to adapt and transform into a rightie due to what evolution of society has determined as positive and negative for us. one who can transform well will adapt well, while those who arent able to adapt will posses strong other characteristics.
