random fish fact of the day: mudskipper!

kept it once. was quite a nice fish to keep, though it was tough and challenging. it is quite aggressive, by nature, and bites, even at me. doesn't move much though, might be sleeping :/ was actually not my area of speciality, which is freshwater, as mudskippers prefer brackish water, which is a mix of salt and fresh water. thus, it was different and weird for me to keep it, and i had to guess what was right and what was different from the regular freshwaters. this proved to be troublesome to maintain and keep it happy. also, its diet is hard to please, alive worms or fishes fitting into the mouth. and it needs plenty of room/tank space. overall, a nice and beautiful fish, but requires much appreciation and effort to notice that.
